St Albans City Youth FC - Match Reports w/e 16th April 2017

St Albans City Youth - Girls

Under 14

The 14 Girls playing Harvesters at home won 9-0 which sees them sitting at the top of the 11-a-side 14 Herts Girls Partnership table with 40 points having won 13 of their 14 matches played and drawing the other game and so remain unbeaten in the league. Scoring the goals were Mathilda Friburgh with a hat-trick whilst Jess Simpson, Mia Pinkham and Sam Farrer all scored a brace apiece. The Player of the match went to Maz Horne-Batet.

Under 12

The 12 Girls North won 4-1 against top of the table Garston Tigers with goals from Esme Hume 2, Tatyana Barton and Gracie Patrick whilst Katie Leigh was named Player of the match.

St Albans City Youth - Boys

Under 14

In their second match in the Spring Cup Group Stages saw 14 Central beat Croxley Green White 9-1 at with Daniel Williams leading the goalscorers with four goals.The other goals were scored by Calum Cornish 2, Elliot Smith 2 plus one from Matt Roome. The MOM was won by Matt Roome.

The 14 North lost 3-0 at home to Gadeside Rangers with Myles Donkin picking up the MOM award.

Under 8

At home to Frontier Jaguars were the 8 South and in their friendly match saw Charlie Morris score five goals with Tommy Gow scoring a brace whilst MOM Ronnie Wilton netted one.
