St Albans City Youth U13 Victoria  5   Berkhamsted Raiders Youth U13 Yellows  2

An entertaining game a good first half pressure saw Victoria move 2 - 0 before the break.  Jake Emett providing assists for a strong header from Zach Bogle and Nabil Behili.

Berkhamstead pulled one back after the break but goals from Zach and Nabil as well as a classic lob from Dylan Wong made extended the score line for a sound win.

St Albans City Youth FC Under 11 Lions v Wheathampstead Mako Sharks

A close match today with the U11 Lions giving the Mako Sharks a real test. The Lions conceded early on but the boys responded positively and the Lions equaliser in the 2nd quarter was great to watch - a well worked corner between Finley Maguire and Daniel Davenport with Levi Chiappe finishing off neatly in the box. The Lions were opened up again in the 3rd quarter and the 2nd goal for the Makos. No less than 3 players were awarded joint Players of the Match for their performances in centre defence and midfield - Eddie Beard, Finley Maguire and Matthew Denning.

St Albans City Youth FC Under 11 South v Welwyn Pegasus Skys

St Albans City U11 South enjoyed the Spring sunshine and put on a glowing performance against Welwyn Pegasus Skys.
In the first quarter the quick passing was very impressive and led to goals from Toby Thompson and Alex Gow. Toby Thompson scored again from the penalty spot and Toby Sumner smashed home the fourth goal.
The South worked hard throughout the game, epitomised by our Player of the Match Hugo Perez Landrove who ran, passed and tackled with his usual passion and commitment.

St Albans City Youth FC Under 9 East v Bengeo Tigers Bengals

East Under 9 Boys faced Bengeo Tigers Bengals in the sunshine at Highfield Park in a tense cup semi final. An end to end game saw both teams trade goals in the opening quarters with Harry Brewer showing ice cold finishing with two expertly taken goals on the counter attack. Josh Smith and Daniel Kennedy caused problems on both flanks with endless energy, each grabbing a goal after neat exchanges of passes. Louis Burt was tireless in midfield and grabbed a fifth with a fine strike. In defence, Senanu Ameadah, Bertie Henson and Kian Guiggonet were resolute and extremely well organised by the unflappable Jake Davenport. Thomas H was a constant menace upfront but the man of the match was Archie Hunter with a composed display in defence which saw him often make crucial interceptions and then launch devastating through balls to the forwards.
