The STACY GIRLS Under 15's North had two matches in Group F of the HGFPL between three days and in the first one saw them beat Harpenden Colts Jaguars 4-0 at home with the deadly Thisbe Danford scoring a superb hat-trick whilst Sarah-Jane Spears netted the fourth goal.

In their next match in Group F saw them play at home to Berkhamsted Raiders Blue Girls and the STACY GIRLS Under 15's North hit five goals to go on and win 5-1 with Abbie Bierman hitting two goals whilst Elsa Leech, Thisbe Danford and Sarah-Jane Spears all scored one apiece to round-up the scoreline. A Michelle Lam early goal for the STACY GIRLS Under 13's North got them going to take a 2-0 lead at half time away to Kings Langley Red Girls in a Group A fixture. They also had three other goals disallowed in the first half by an over eager linesman. Although Kings Langley pulled a goal back a superb strike from Rebecca Smith put the icing on the cake as the North went on to win 3-1 to end the season with a fine victory.

The STACY GIRLS Under 13's Wildcats played a friendly against Harpenden Rovers Girls and they went onto win 9-0 with player of the match Robyn Page scoring an excellent hat-trick. The other goalscorers for the Wildcats were Elsa McGaughey 2, Poppy Williams-Leung 2, Sophie Cohen, and Reese Anscomb.

Harpenden Colts Jets Girls and the STACY GIRLS Under 12's North played a real cracking match and it was the latter who turned up trumps by winning this away game 7-2 in their final match in HGPFL Group G match. The North Girls took all three points in this dominant display which now means three wins and three draws in their last six matches for them to finish very strongly indeed. The goalscorers for the North Girls were Shea Fagan 2, Rachel Kincaid, Verity Lobina, Roxie Kosh and two from player of the match Sophie McMahon.

In the Purple division of the HGPFL were the STACY GIRLS Under 11's Wildcats and their opponents were Harpenden Colts Jaguars Girls and it was a very entertaining game and Evie Dullaghan-Stone opened the scoring after running onto a well-timed through ball. Then Emily Dormer added a second goal with a real belter whilst player of the match Evie Dullaghan-Stone ran from the halfway line and in doing so saw her hold off three players to slot home her second goal of the match with five minutes to go.

The STACY GIRLS Under 10's Central played away to Ruislip Rangers Clarets Girls in a Pink division match and scoring a couple of goals for Central were Lilia Clarke and Amber Fells with one apiece. The player of the match was awarded to goalkeeper Grace Smith who was just brilliant between the sticks as she maintained a clean sheet.

Also in a Pink division match were the STACY GIRLS Under 10's Romans and they were playing away to Watford Ladies Hornets and the Romans took the lead when Annabel Latham slipped a slide rule pass for to Lucy Leonard to run through and with only the keeper to beat saw her finish off with aplomb. Lucy Carter scored a second goal for Central when she cut in from the left and sent a low shot that went fizzing along the top of the surface which the keeper could not hold onto. Eden Boswell made a fine save late on to keep the Hornets out. Eden Boswell, Helena Armoogum and Orla Henry all played well in defence whilst Annabel Latham and Rose Sharman saw them work hard in midfield. The player of the match went to Lucy Carter who gave an outstanding performance with her superb runs and tackling during the game.

Also getting on the scoresheet was Amelia Ramirez-Baez with two and she was also named as player of the match for her great goals and for her fine saves as she took her turn in goal.

The STACY GIRLS Under 9's Central were playing their club mates the STACY GIRLS Under 9's Wildcats in the Purple division and there were plenty of goals in this match with Jess Kutcher scoring four, Evie Rosenheim with an excellent hat-trick plus Isabella Habbouchi with one. The player of the match for Central was Bella Batchellor and for the Wildcats it was awarded to Cecilia Turton.

The STACY Girls Under 8' North were away to Berkhamsted Raiders Red Girls in the Pink division and Jessica Barrett who was in fine form hit a glorious hat-trick with Hannah Smith scoring one. Mia Pishardoy scored with a magnificent volley whilst Rosie Harris scored twice with her second goal being smashed past the keeper at her near post. Maddie Latham added two more goals to the Orient total with the first following a great dribble and finish whilst her second came after a great team move. Sophia Ashcroft played the ball to Josie Henriksen who then helped it onto Mia Pisharody who then knocked it onto Grace Taylor for her to set up Maddie Latham who instantly lashed the ball into the back of the net to complete the scoring for the Orient Girls. The player of the match went to captain Josie Hendriksen who gave an imperious display in the defence.

The STACY GIRLS Under 13's North played a double header at home to Hitchin Belles Blues Girls in Group A and despite them having a lot of play their failure to shoot again let them down as they lost 2-0 in the first game and 3-0 in the second.

Also playing a double header were the STACY GIRLS Under 13's Wildcats and they drew 0-0 in the first game in Group D against London Lions Ladies Girls with player of the match going to Imogen Siery who had a great game in defence. This now leaves the STACY GIRLS North in second place with three games remaining.

In the Pink division of the HGPFL saw the STACY GIRLS Under 11's Central play away to Watford Ladies Hornets and both sides worked hard to build up attacking play, but the match still ended in a 0-0 draw. The STACY GIRLS Under 11's Wildcats were away to Chorleywood Common Girls Jaguars in the Purple division and Sophie Cowan scored two superb goals whilst there was also a super performance in goal from keeper Ali Cowan made some great saves during the match. The player of the match went to the whole team as without any subs saw battle well against a strong Jaguars side.

Not very often I do this but I was sent the whole squad in their match report so I will mention them all. So here goes, Lucy Carter, Lucy Leonard, Helena Armoogum, Jasmine Paine, Lirel Macey, Rose Sharman, Gabby D ‘Avella, Izzy Marriot, Orla Henry and Eliza Maton. The Romans were at home in the Pink division of the HGPFL against Meninas FC Salvador Girls and there were some great plays from Eliza Maton which included some lovely interplay like a knife through butter which saw captain Lucy Carter shrug off two defenders before calmly slotting the ball into the bottom corner. Then a superb pinpoint cross from the right from Lucy Leonard found Lucy Carter unmarked in the box whereupon she took one touch, bang the ball ended up in top corner for her second goal of the match The visitors keeper played brilliantly and clearly she must have had her Weetabix this morning.

The Romans superb attacking force of Ellie Roberts, Amelia Foils, Grace Fergie, Ellie Roberts, and Olivia Williams kept the Berko Raiders on the back foot throughout the match. The player of the match was awarded to Eva Kitson.

Playing at home to Garston Ladies Juniors Tigers in Group H saw the STACY GIRLS Under 12's North really keep the Tigers in their cage as the Under 12's North girls romped to a 12-1 victory. There were three goals in the first ten minutes of the match as they surged to a 5-0 lead at half time, but more was to follow in the second period as they raced to a record 12-1 victory. Leading the goalscorers was Rachel Kincaid with four clinical strikes whilst Roxie Kosh got a hat-trick and Shea Fagan with two. The other goals were scored by Verity Lobina, Ava Cowie and Jacey Dyett and there was no overall player of the match following this impressive team performance, as they say we certainly nailed this one.

The STACY GIRLS Under 11's Wildcats were at home in the Purple division to Bury Rangers Girls and following a fine performance from everyone one of the girls with some excellent passing and moving and control of the ball saw goals from Emily Dormer with a neat brace whilst both Ava Holland and Evie Dullaghan-Stone scored one apiece. The player of the match went to the bubbly defender Asha Pisharody whilst the Bury Rangers keeper had a brilliant game between the sticks.

The STACY GIRLS Under 10's Romans were away to the STACY GIRLS Under 10's Central and it was a real end to end game and it finished with honours even with a 3-3 draw. Nell McKinstry scored the equaliser for the Central with a fine high shot to level the scores at 1-1. The Romans took a 2-1 lead with a thunderous shot from her right foot into the top corner by Lucy Carter and then Central hit back to take a 3-2 lead with two more goals from Nell McKinstry to complete her hat-trick, but parity was secured when Izzy Marriott scored another goal to take her tally to two and the final score to 3-3. The Under 14's South lost only their second game in division one this season as they went down 4-1 at home to Watford Youth Sports after they had 1-0 up early in the first half with a goal from Ethan Howard. Watford scored an equaliser to make it 1-1 at the break but a lacklustre display in the second half saw them collapse to a 4-1 defeat. The man of the match went to Adam Smith who was playing his first game in five months after making his return from injury.

The Under 14's Arrows lost 6-0 away to Nascot Wood Rangers in division two.

In division three saw the Under 14's Central play at away to the Under 14's West and it was a great game with the West just nipping it by winning it by three goals to two. The Under 14's Dragons maintained their five-point lead at the top of division five with a 4-0 home win over Croxley Green Yellow after they had led 3-0 at the break. Two goals from Daniel Minihan in the first five minutes but they then took their foot off the gas and had to wait just before the break before Daniel Minihan added a third goal to complete his hat-trick. In the second period Harry Barnes hit a left foot screamer into the top corner from his new midfield position to complete the scoring. The opponent’s keeper had an excellent game in that he kept the scoreline down whilst the Dragons keeper Austin Kennedy was named man of the match for being there to make vital saves when called upon.

The Under 13's Orient played a double header against Hemel Hempstead Town White in division three of the WHYL and they won both games with the score being 1-0 in the first match and 2-0 in the second game. Now to the good boys, The Under 12's Romans in division four of the WHYL played Cassiobury Rangers Blues away and the young Saints finally lost 4-2 following a very tight and close match with the Romans battling away in the second half and finishing the stronger side but alas that ball just would not go into the back of the net to force a draw. Scoring for the Romans were Theo Turley and Elliot Campbell with a couple of fine strikes in the first half with Elliot Campbell's goal being a cracking low free kick.

At home in a Group A fixture were the STACY Girls Under 13's North and they were in top form against Kings Langley Youth Reds Girls, and they finally finished off their chances they created to win 6-0 and it come have been more if it were not for the Kings Langley keeper who played brilliantly to keep the score down. In the second half it was a different story as the hosts scored three quick goals to take control of the match and to eventually run out 6-0 winners, so you see it was certainly a game of two halves. There was a joint player of the match and that went to Zara Millar and Zara Stanley who both had good games at the back.

The top two teams of Group G met at sunny Greenwood Park and it was a closely fought match between the STACY Girls Under 12's North and Harpenden Colts Girls Jets. Strong possession in the first half gave the North numerous chances including one by Rachel Kincaid from the edge of the box that struck the foot of the post following a Verity Lobina cross. Also, Shea Fagan and Jacey Dyett both went close, but it was the visitors who snatched victory with just one goal in the second half to record a 1-0 victory. Other goals for the Wildcats came from Emily Dormer 2, Lizzie Baylis, Sophie Cowan, and Siena Sahota. The player of the match went to the energetic Aniya Merrison.

The STACY Girls Under 10's Romans away in a Pink division fixture fought out a hard goalless draw at Berkhamsted Raiders Girls Galactic’s against a strong Berko team and despite a lack of goals it was still a veritable 0-0 thriller. The Romans Girls gave everything with some strong running with some selfless wing play from Rosie Sharman and Gabby D ‘Avella whilst there was some good defensive play from Orla Henry plus excellent midfield work from Izzy Marriott. The timely tackles and composure on the ball and textbook play in the "Libero" role earned Lirel Macey the player of the match title, well done Lirel. Lucy Leonard also made some good runs as well during the game.

Also in a Pink division fixture were the STACY Girls Under 10's Central and they were at home to Meninas FC Salvador Girls and captain and player of the match Nell McKinstry scored a brilliant goal for the Central Girls. WATFORD FRIENDLY LEAGUE

The Under 18's Central were at home to the Under 18's South in a Red division match and for a while it looked like Central were going to pick up their first win and points of the season when they led 1-0 with a goal from Callum Cornish with ten minutes to go but once again their luck ran out when no fit subs and tired legs saw South score an equaliser through Gideon Urhoma who then minutes later scored another to win the match 2-1 for South. Still was a great performance from the 18 Central and their man of the match went to the hard-working Jonathan Hargreaves whilst for the South it was midfielder Luke Mann who picked up the title.

The Under 17's East lost 1-0 at home AFC Southgate this weekend but the previous week they earnt a 2-2 draw in a Blue division match against Northwood Red with goals from Tom Merritt and Rory Yates.

On a very hard and bobbly pitch saw the Under 14's Orient fought out a 0-0 draw at home Alexandra Park South and despite dominating possession throughout the match Orient could not just score that vital goal as the visitor’s defence held firm. The man of the match for the Under 14's Orient was captain fantastic Bertie Postema.

After a quick chasing phone call, I managed to get the match details of the Under 14 Spartans as they drew 3-3 in the Blue division at home to West Herts Youth Stags with Dwayne Mitchell once again got in amongst the goals with a excellent brace whilst Zevik Cowell popped up with the third goal for the Spartans. The man of the match in the first game was midfielder Stan Seeby whilst for the second match it was awarded to the hard-working Toby Read.

In a Red division fixture saw the Under 12's West play London Colney Colts Blue and following a very close match saw the Blueboys just edge it by winning the match 3-2. Scoring the two goals for the West were Eddie Cullum and Harvey McKessick who was also named as man of the match.

The Under 12s West then played a midweek match in the Red division and they were away to APB Barnet Rams and they came away with all three points after a 5-3 victory with Eddie Cullum scoring two goals and match of the match Kojo Quartey netted two goals as well whilst Kyle Lloyd scored the fifth goal for the young Saints.

The Under 12's East played a double header against Whetstone Tigers Thunderbolt in the White division and the first match ended in a 2-2 draw with goals from Leo Hooper-Walter whose nickname is Thunderbolt by the way and Harry Murphy who was also man of the match.

In the second game saw the Under 12's East get the win they deserved with a 2-1 victory with Harry Murphy scoring the first goal whilst man of the match Leo "Thunderbolt" Hooper-Walter struck home the winner against Whetstone Tigers.

Also playing a doubleheader in the White division were the Under 12 North and they had mixed fortunes against their opponents West Herts Youth Stags as they lost the first match 2-0 but hit back to win the second game 3-2. Scoring the goals for the Under 12's North were Jago Andrew with a brilliant brace whilst Oliver Ajaegbu got the third goal. The man of the match in both matches was awarded to the midfield linchpin Joshua Cassidy.

Another team playing a double header were the Under 12's South and they lost both matches 2-0 and 4-0 respectively to HMH Hawks in a Blue division fixture. No other info.

The Under 9's North in the Camelot division of the WFL were away to APB FC Barnet Rams and scoring a fantastic hat-trick was the young Brayden Edwards with Harry Talbot adding a fourth goal with a bullet header from twelve yards out.

WEST HERTS YOUTH LEAGUE

Ollie Gilmour scored the only goal for the Under 18's Orient in their home match with Sun Sports Yellow in division two of the WHYL as the Orient finally collapsed to lose 6-1 after they had only 2-0 down at the break.

At home to Harpenden Colts Cobras were the Under 18's East in a division three fixture and the East showed a polished ruthless performance to win 6-0 and it should have been more. Scoring the goals was Danny Anderson with a brace which were his first goals for the club since he was in the Under 8's back in 2011, also getting two goals was Jarl

Quesada-Thorn whilst both Brad Sanders and Adam Pendell scored one apiece. Making a welcome return in midfield was Freddie "Quarter-Back " Collins.

Leading 2-1 at half time were the Under 17's East against Kings Langley Blue in this division four home match but in the second period saw Kings Langley strike back to win the game 3-2. Scoring the goals for the under 17's East were Anashe Sithole and Charlie Moore.

In a division three match saw the Under 15's Orient play away to Wheathampstead Wanderers Pumas and Matthew Penfold scored two fine goals to help the Orient to a 4-0 win whilst both Joshua Palminter and Declan Wilkinson both hit one goal each to complete the scoring.

Two teams in division four of the WHYL and they were Under 15's Boreal and Under 15's Central both drew 0-0 against Cassiobury Rangers Blues and Bovingdon Juniors Storm respectively with neither of the Saints teams sending me any info, naughty Boys!

At home to Chorleywood Common Eagles in division one of the WHYL were the Under 14's South and at the break the scoreline was 2-2 but in the second period saw the South score another three goals to go on and win 5-3. Scoring three of the goals was the hat-trick hero and man of the match Sam Estell with both Ben Browning and Joshua H Smith scoring one goal each.

For the Under 14's Arrows saw Joe Clinton score a magnificent hat-trick in their game away to Colney Heath Magpies in division two but alas it was not enough for them as the Arrows eventually lost 7-3.

The Under 14's Central were at home to Everett Rovers Black in division three and an excellent header from Roarke Silcox on 32 minutes gave Central a 1-0 lead at half time. The Under 14's Dragons certainly lived up their name as they hit the Harpenden Colts Tigers with some fire as they raced to a 5-0 victory after they had led 3-0 at the break. This now makes nine wins out of ten and they sit top of the division five table and scoring the goals in the first half were Daniel Minihan, Michael Napier, and Vinnie Ogden. In the second period saw Daniel Minihan hit another two goals to complete his hat-trick in this Saints comprehensive win.
