In the Thomas Hardy Cup saw the Under lose 2-1 to Bushey Rangers at home with Trevor SMITH scoring the Saints only goal. In the second half an outstanding performance from Ross Bartup nearly turned the game but it was not to be and just to prove it was not their day when they turned up at St Peters School to play the match they found someone had broken the crossbar and also the posts so they had to quickly fine another pitch which they duly did. Squad: Warren, Goodhead, T. Smith, Black, P. Smith, Baker, Moore, Costello, Jackson, Bartup, Bell, King, Garland (all played).

The Under 11's put their recent run of poor results behind them to defeat Meriden away 4-2 in the Autumn Cup with two superb goals from Chris CUTMORE plus one each from Stuart MORGAN and Paul TAYLOR. Squad: Thompson, Watts, Edwards, Wasey, Whitlock, Hook, Jenkins, Crowne, Morgan, Taylor, Cutmore, Lacovone.

In the same competition the Under 11's A played well to defeat Chiltern United at home 10-0 and leading the goalscorers was Jack SABIN-YOUNG with a hat-trick plus two goals apiece from Mike RANCE, Chris JONES and John TAIT whilst Andrew RUSSELL popped up with one. Squad: Kerry, Schofield, Tait, R. Peck, Coles, Baker, Russell, Jones, Sabin-Young, Webster-Smith, Gaskin, Carlisle, Rance (all played).

The Under 13's South were away to Broadway in a league fixture and the young Saints eventually lost 6-2 with Phil McAulay and Georgie BLYTH striking the goals for St. Albans. Squad: Morgan, McCallum, Clark, Ford, Fenn, Blyth, Sibley, Carter, Taylor, Miles, McAulay, Cornish, Young (all played).

The Under 14's were 1-0 down at half time at home to London Colney but after a half time team chat saw them fight back to take all the points by winning the match 4-1 with goals from Stephen RAY, Nigel GETLEY, Andrew WRAY and Matthew BUTCHER.

A great hat-trick from Tom LAWRENCE saw the Under 15's North draw 3-3 at home to Barnet B after they were at one stage 2-0 down early on into the match. Team: Milner, Baladi, Cooper, Clark, Daw, Lawrence, Rawle, Scorer, Shadbolt, Sissons, Mead.

In the East Anglian Cup were the Under 16's South and they were away to Trumpington Tornadoes(near Cambridge) and the young Saints move on into the next round by winning the match 2-0 with a goal apiece from Danny DODDS and Ross ELLIOTT which was a real sizzler from the penalty spot from the Blonde Bomber himself. Team: Prowle, Elliott, Lawrence, Sankey, Pendred, Gibson, Dodds, Kowenberg, Ryan Thompson, Edwards.

The Under 16's North were away to Austen Arrowheads in a Herts County Cup replay and they won the match with two well struck penalties from Mark WARRINER to make the final score 2-1 to the Saints. The first penalty came about after Giovanni Russo was fouled inside the box whilst the second came when the Saints cleared the ball off their own goal line before sprinting away down the other end which then saw Tom Westcott being tripped from behind as he ran into the penalty area. Team: Varley, Hulks, Owen, Russo, Lacey, Veasey, Westcott, Pearman, Profit, Day, Warriner. Sub: Jordan (did not play).

After being 2-0 down at the break the Under 18's East finally conceded another six in the second period to lose 8-0 at home to Princes Park in the league. Squad: Bassill, Tucker, Flannery, Petrie, Thrussell, Bolding, Dudey, Edwards, Messer, Griffin, Stapleton, Banks (all played).

At home to Cockfosters saw Ash CHOUDHURY score a great hat-trick for the Under 18's West but this still was not enough for the Under 18's West as they eventually lost 6-4 with Mark SELLER scoring the West's fourth goal. The score was 2-2 at half time and it was not until the last five minutes that saw the visitors score two late goals to take all the points. Squad: Chapman, Lindsay, Taylor, Gammon, Lawrence, Mutlow, Bentley, Young, Yeo, Choudhury, Twigg, Seller (all played).

On Wednesday the 28th of October saw the Under 12's play Harpenden Colts here at Clarence Park in the annual Paul McHugh Trophy and although in the last few seasons it has been the Saints who have won the trophy but it was not to be this year as it was Harpenden Colts who came out on top with a 3-0 victory.
