 HERTS BOYS DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE

Well at last we have some info from one of our Under 7's squads welcome.

The 7 South were at home to Bedwell Rangers and the whole team played well with Finley Smith during his time in goal making some great clearances. Following a fine move between Harry Kotinas and Vinnie Crawley saw the latter drill the ball into the bottom left corner for a great finish. Some tenacious tackling by Harry Kotinas and some brilliant runs from Finley Smith saw the 7 South constantly on the attack whilst Joe Penning, Seb Theobalds and Antoine Asiedu marshalled the defence. Harry Kotinas made a fine run into the box whereupon he was brought down and he dusted himself down to take the penalty kick and although the Bedwell keeper parried his spot kick Harry Kotinas was first to the ball and tuck it away for the South's second goal. Vinnie Crawley nearly added a third, but his low shot hit the post whilst Barney Makepeace also went close and Joe Penning during his turn between the sticks also made some excellent saves. Fine performance from all the boys and so Ice Creams all round, Coach Orders.

The 8 South were at home to Bedwell Rangers Corinthians and there were plenty of goals from both sides with Vihan Abeyrathna, Jonah Herron, Harry Hirst, Nathan Wickes and Finley Cullen all getting a goal apiece for the South

Away to Bengeo Tigers Bengals were the 8 West and, in this match, also saw a few goals scored by both teams with Alex Faldo, Archie Brown and Seth Keaveny all finding the back of the net for the 8 West.

Another team playing Bengeo Tigers Bengals were the 9 Lions, so it was the Lions versus the Tigers and once again there was a lot of goals with the goals for the Lions coming from Tristian Francis, Edward Beard and Matthew Denning. The man of the match went to Finley Maguire for his tireless performance in defence and midfield.

At home to Welwyn Pegasus Cobalts were the 9 South which saw man of the match Evan Love score a great hat-trick and he also did some excellent tackling which was followed by some fine work rate. Also scoring a goal apiece were Toby Thompson and Elijah Bailey with Thompson's effort finding the top corner. Being defensive rocks were Rory Saunders and Hugo Perez-Landrove.

The 10 North played Bedwell Rangers Real at home and scoring a goal for the young Saints was Nathan Payne following a well worked move whilst the man of the match went to goalkeeper Ollie Robinson who did not put a foot wrong in goal on a very muddy pitch.

Away to Bury Rangers were the 10 South and scoring a fine brace for them was Sofiane Benadoud with Finley Seabrook scoring the South's third goal which he smashed into the top corner.

The 10 Orient played Welwyn Pegasus Cyans away and getting amongst the goals once again was Louis Chen with yet another excellent effort whilst Billy Stone also added a fine goal as well. Playing well at the back were the brilliant trio of Harry Dennis, Louis Smith and Nathaniel Parsons.

At home Bedwell Rangers Albion were the 11 East and the star player for the East was Leo Hooper-Walter who scored five dynamic goals, and this was followed by a goal apiece from Will John, Harry Murphy and Gabriel Odumlami. During this fine team performance saw the East's keeper Seth Coetzee pull off a great save by saving a penalty.
