FRIENDLIES: The 12 Orient played a friendly against Colney Heath Rangers and they young Saints hit thirteen goals to win 13-1 with OLLIE JAY leading the way with 4 goals and then came LUCAS BERRY with a hat-trick. U12s South travelled up the M1 to take part in the Kempston pre-season tournament which was good 9-a-side practise for the forthcoming season. We won our 3 group games 1-0 vs Wilstead Harriers, 2-0 vs Great Denham Ambers and 4-0 vs Kempston Rovers Tigers.

In the Semi Final the team produced a superb display of passing football to run out convincing 3-0 winners vs Harrold and Carlton Hurricanes. The final was a tough physical game against a strong team from Leicester. After the taking the lead the team were unlucky to concede as the game finished 1-1 at full time. In the penalty shoot out out the St Albans players were clinical with some excellent penalties being taken and with goalkeeper Ben Soll pulling off 2 fantastic saves the shoot out out was won 4-3. This was a great all round team performances and credit to all the boys who put themselves forward to take a penalty.

Goalscorers were Sam Estell (5), Freddie Yeo (2), Ryan Kennedy (2), Owen Weaver and Ben Turnbull.

Scorers of the penalties were Owen Weaver, Sam Estell, Daniele Di-Stadio and Ryan Kennedy whilst their 5th penalty taker James Beasley was not needed .
