St Albans City Youth FC - Boys

Under 18

The City Youth Under 18 West played a double header against Nascot Wood Rangers, in the first match they won 2 - 1 thanks to goals from Yaku Stapleton and Sam Waters-Rathjen. The man of the match went to Sam Cornmell. In the second game they won 3 - 0, this time the goals were scored by Sam Waters-Rathjen, Twanda Manenji and Shaun Aylwood. The man of the match for the second game was Sam Waters-Rathjen.

The Under 18 Orient played club mates the Under 18 East and it was the East who came out on top with a 2 - 1 victory. For the Orient Oscar Hughes scored and Stephen Heather was named man of the match. For the East their goals were scored by Harry Henderson and Luke Winks with the man of the match going to Billy Rintoul.

The Under 18 Warriors drew with club mates the Under 17 West 3 - 3 in the Spring Shield. The goal scorers for the Warriors were Lewis Glasscoe, Joe Weaver and Stuart Peet. The man of the match went to Theo Maher.

Under 16

The Under 16 East WFL played against Muswell Hill Cobras in the Semi Final of the Spring Cup, well done to the lads after a great 3-1 victory. There were goals from Ollie Barnett, Harvey Trounson and a penalty from man of the match Tayler Fennel.

The Under 16 Orient had a 10 - 1 win over Sun Postal at Highfield Park with goals from Ashley Price 3, Adam Purkiss 2, Ben Rose, William Ibbotson, Erick Kieffer, Nayeem Ahmed and Tom Barratt.

The Under 16 North lost 2-1 against Evergreen with the Saints goal being scored by Alfie Booth. The man of the match was Youness Bakhti.

The Under 16 South lost 4-1 to Chorleywood Lions with man of the match Ben Gosling scoring.

Under 15

The City Youth FC Under 15 Orient played local rivals Harvesters South and won the game 3 - 0 thanks to goals from Lewis McCall, Finbar King and Harry Easterby. The man of the match was Dan Ashenhurst.

The City Youth Under 15 West played Watford Youth Red in the League and won the game 4-3 thanks to goals from Kai Takakahashi, Harrison Bean and two from Matt Nash. The man of the match award went to Matt Turner.

The Under 15 East lost 5 - 0 to Harpenden.

Under 14

The Under 14 North played Hoddesdon Town in the County Cup Final played at the County Ground, Letchworth. The match was an end to end affair with Hoddesdon taking the lead thanks to a Joshua Hart strike after a through ball from Nixon after 15 minutes. it was not long before City Youth equalised with a Chris Rowe free kick that Jaime Armstrong flicked into the net in the 23rd minute. In the second half despite a number of chances from Billy Owen and Ed Mann Hoddesdon scored a second to take the lead with Joshua Hart scoring his second of the match with a 20 yard drive into the bottom corner. The Saints pushed forward looking for the equalising goal but it did not happen and the final score was 2 - 1 to Hoddesdon. City Youth Squad: Kerslake, Mann, Armstrong, Carmichael, Bockenhauer, Misrty, Owen, Rowe, Banerjee, Lawrence, Williams, Geller, Parrett, Johnston, Wilkins.

The Under 14 West played away to Berkhamsted Raiders and came away with all the points after an 8 - 0 win. Scoring the goals were Stefan Martin 3, Evander Port, James Knapp 2 and Adam Johnson also with two goals.

The Under 14 East lost 2-0 to Chorleywood Common Hurricans in the Semi Final of the Challenge Cup. The man of the mathc went to Ben Spencer.

Under 13

The Under 13 South had a good 3 - 0 away win over Harvesters South thanks to goals from Dan Eaves, Anthony Graham and Louis Baker-Madec. The man of the match went to Jake Fleming.

The Under 13 Orient made the long journey up the A1M to Biggleswade to play a friendly match with Biggleswade Town. The Orient had the edge of the seven goals with a 4-3 victory. There were two goals from Man of the match Brendan Donogan and two from striker Ollie Gilmour who has now reached his season target of twenty goals (now you will have to beat your target Ollie).

The Under 13 North lost 3 - 0 to Herons with the man of the match going to Sasha Stojijkovic.

The Under 13 Central lost 1 - 0 to Harpenden Colts Blue despite a valiant effort. The man of the match went to Matty Bleakley.

Under 12

The City Youth Under 12 East Blue had another spectacular performance with a 2 - 1 win over Edmonton Rangers Hawks. The goals were scored by Charlie Battle and a 25 yard screamer from Nico Mohan.

The Under 12 West lost 6-3 to Edmonton Raiders Owls with their goals coming from Mark Lane 2 and Huw Dawson.

The Under 12 North had a double header against Berkhamsted Raiders, both match finished all square, the first 1 - 1 and the second 0 - 0. Louis Sampson scored the only goal for the Saints. The man of the match awards went to Matthew Radelat in the first game and Charlie Parks in the second.

The Under 12 South lost 2 - 0 to Bovingdon Thunder with the man of the match going to Callum Solly.

The Under 12 East Yellow had a narrow defeat against Hemel White by three goals to four. The Saints goals we scored by Brandon Tainis 2 and Oscar Evans.

Under 11

The Under 11 East played a match against Broomfield Academy in the Quarter Final of the Cup. After a very good match the East progressed to the Semi final after a 7 - 0 win. Scoring the goals were two from captain James Nash, two from man of the match Jack Longbottom and singles from Sam Bocca-Mappe, Arjun Sansi and Owen Phillips.

The Under 11 North played Berkhamsted Raiders in a very clost match we saw an outstanding team performance from the Saints.

The Under 11 South played Welwyn Garden City with goals being scored by man of the match Adam Savvides and James Gale.

The Under 11 West played Welwyn Garden City Typoons with a goal scored by Aaron Rawlings and the man of the match went to Shay Murphy.

Under 10

The Under 10 South played Cheshunt Youth Blacks in what was an end to end match. The goals were scored by Jed Ejjayha 3. Special mention must go to Finley Evans who had a great match in goal.

In the Yellow Division Cup Semi Final the Under 10 Orient drew 1 - 1 with Ware Rangers thanks to a goal from Harley Jack, however the Saints got to the final after winning the penalty shootout 2 - 0 thanks to penalties from Jack MacDonald and George Ilari.

The Under 10 Boreal played Hurst Drive Youth away. The star player was Mitchell Murphy for his performance on the left wing.

The Under 10 Victoria played Berkhamsted Raiders. This was a super game, real end to end action. There was a goal from Freddie Roe and the man of the match went to Noor Dajani.

The Under 10 West played away to Welwyn Pegasus in the Semi Final of the Cup and went out with a 4 - 1 scoreline. The Saints goal was scored by man of the match Sam Mills.

Also going out of the Semi Final of the Cup were the Under 10 Central who lost 4 - 0 to Harlow Town. Max McCaulliffe was named man of the match.

Under 9

The Under 9 North beat East Herts in the Emerald Div Cup Semi Final. The Norths goal was scored by Adam Gardner and the man of the match went to Milic Pavic.

The Under 9 South played Clodan Youth Gold in what was one of the best games of football this season. There was a goal scored by Steven Jacobs who finished off after a five player move. Man of the match went to Josh Smith.

The Under 9 East played Bengeo Tigers in a very good and close match. There were goals from Johnny Bennett and Tom Jennings. The whole team were named man of the match.

The Under 9 Orient played Comets Reds. The goals were scored by Bertie Postema and Alex Hails. The man of the match for the Saints was Adam Oldfield.

The Under 9 West played their last home match of the season at Highfield Park against Hemel Hempstead Reds. Aryan Banerjee scoring.

The Under 9 Saxons played away to Elite Feet Southgate Lions. Sam Estell scored.

The Under 9 Central played Hemel Panthers and Ethan Siegar scored 2 goals. The man of the match was Josh White.

The Under 9 Dragons played Frontiers Youth Panthers in the Semi Final of the Divisional Cup, unfourtunatly they lost 3 - 1 with Joshua Francois scoring their only goal and Scott Cole being named man of the match.

The Under 9 Arrows played Hoddesdon Town Whites giving a battling display. Man of the match was Max Butterworth who also saved a penalty.

The Under 9 Romans played Ware Lions.

Under 8

Also playing Elite Feet Southgate Lions were the Under 8 Orient. Scoring the goals were Theo Hancock 3 and Adam Lorman.

The Under 8 West played at home to Broxbourne Borough Indigos. There were goals from Toby Short and Alex Evershed. The man of the match went to Freddie Stewart.

The Under 8 North had a great match with Potters Bar Crusaders. There were goals from Jacob Standing 4 and  Kaden Rajkumar 2. The man of the match went to Christopher Datudo.

The Under 8 South played Hertford Lions and there were goals scored by Harrison Smith 2 and Jacob Thomas. The man of the match went to Harrison Smith.

St Albans City Youth FC - Girls

Under 16

The Under 16 Girls South drew 2 - 2 away to League Leaders Garston thanks to goals from Abby Durrant and Abbie Smith. The player of the match went to Beth Moss.

The Under 16 Girls North lost to Hitchin Belles in the Shield Semi Final.

Under 15

The Under 15 Girls North lost narrowly 1 - 0 to Kinja Thunder in what was a brilliant performance with the Saints unlucky to have conceded a goal 3 minutes from time. The player of the match award was shared between SIzobel Todd and Ffion Williams.

The Under 15 Girls South lost 3 - 0 to Kings Langley in the League Cup Semi Final (1 - 0 at HT) The Saints had most of the second half possesion but could not score. The player of the match was Lotty Nicholls.

Under 14

The Under 14 Girls drew 1 - 1 in the Semi Final of the Shield but then went out on penalties 4 - 2. Bo Westcombe-Evans scored there only goals during the match. The penalties were scored by Sophie Bates and Hannah McCorkindale.

Under 13

The Under 13 Girls lost 2 - 1 to Harvesters with Mia Pinkham scoring and the player of the match going to Anna Gifford.

Under 12

The Under 12 Girls South lost 5 - 0 to Harvesters. The player of the match was keeper Jasmine Price who was brilliant in goal.

Under 11

The Under 11 Girls South played Borehamwood. The goals were scored by Rosie Littlechild3.

The Under 11 Girls North played Garston Tigers. Tatyana Barton scored and the player of the match went to Olivia Pickersgill.

Under 10

The Under 10 Girls South played Berkhamsted Raiders Blues. There were goals from Grace McMurray 3, Emilia Fishwick and Esme Bush. The player of the match was awarded to Grace McMurray.

The Under 10 Girls North played Denham Girls with the player of the match going to Ruby Peacosk.

Under 9

The Under 9 Girls North played Garston ladies. There were goals from Amy Reeves 3 and Evie Cussans who was also named player of the match.

The Under 9 Girls South played Watford Girls. Florence Tatlo0ck scored and Poppy Mountain was the player of the match.

Under 8

The Under 8 Girls played Garston Tigers at Highfield Park. There were goals from Laila Brown 4, Emma Bracey 2, Maya Deans 2 and one from Sophie Birkett. The player of the match was Emma Bracey.
