St Albans City Youth FC - Boys
The City Youth Under 18 West played their fellow club mates the Under 18 East, the score was 9 - 4 to the West thanks to goals from Taylor Finnegan 3, Tawanda Manenji 2, Matt Hubbard 2, Ellis Allen and Sam Waters-Rathjen. The man of the match for the West was Taylor Finnegan and Twanda Manenji for performance and sportsmanship. For the East the goals were scored by Max Mumford 2, Louis Andrew and one from man of the match Ed Hollis.
The Under 18 Warriors had a good 4 - 3 win over Alexandra Park with goals from Nico D'Oliveria 2, Stuart Peet and Lewis Glasscoe. The man of the match went to Max Sharpe.
The Under 17 West came out on top in a Nine Goal thriller against Whetstone Wanderers Jaguars with a 5 - 4 victory. The goals were scored by Alfie Seeby 3, Charlie Lunniss and Chris Spratling.
The Under 16 Orient had a 4 - 4 draw against Kings Langley. The Orients goals were scored by Nayeem Ahmed 2, Tom Barratt and Adam Purkiss. This was the last match of the season and a good point against the Champions.
The Under 16 Central drew 2 - 2 with Bushey and Oxhey Under 16s. In a great game the Saints went 1 - 0 down and then missed a penalty that would have made it 1 - 1. After being 2 - 1 down the Saints equalised with five minutes to go thanks to the second goal from Jack Cummings. The man of the match went to Harrison Gates. Great performance.
The City Youth Under 16 North had a 2 - 2 draw with Whetstone Wanderers. The Saints goals came from Chris Hubbard and Owen Greenbank. The Man of the match Euan McDonald.
The City Youth Under 16 East WFL lost 0 - 1 AC Finchley. Tayler Fennel hit a fine shot that hit the bar and both Joe Vance and Tom Levy had cracking shots from free kicks that were tipped around the post. Man of the match was Alex Stevens.
The Under 16 South had a double header against Ashton Clinto, in the first game they had a 2 - 0 victory with the goals coming from Ben Gosling and Jared Walsh, in the second game it was a 3 - 0 win the the same goal scorers but this time Ben Gosling scored a brace and Jared Walsh netted the third.
The Under 15 South won 4 - 1 against Abbots Youth. Harrison Arnold scored two goals and was also named man of the match. The other goals were scored by Harrison Doyle and Fin Banks.
The Under 14 North won their Red Division fixture 3 - 0 against Berkhamsted Raiders thanks to goals from Thomas Geller, Billy Owen and Joe Parrett. The man of the match was Joe Williams.
The City Youth Under 14 West had a fine 9 - 1 victory over Evergreen with Stefan Martin scoring four goals, the other goals were scored by Evander Port 2, James Knapp, Jem Andrew and Scott Redshaw.
The Under 14 East played away at Harpenden Colts and came away with all the points thanks to a 3 - 1 win. The goals were scored by Aaron peter in the first half and then two goals from Harry peter in the second. The man of the match went to Fazan Uddin.
The Under 14 Orient lost 1 - 5 to Bushey and Oxhey Dragons with Peter Rock scoring their only goals. The man of the match went to Bly Wilding.
The City Youth Under 13 East played a double header with St Albans Rangers, it was 0-0 in the first match and then the East won 5-0 in the second game thanks to goals from Mustaqim Bosksh 2, Muba Kiomone 2 & Louis Postema.
St Albans City Youth's Under 13 Central 6 - 0 Kings Langley. What a great match, there were goals from Joe Cussans 2, Daniel Onochie-Williams, Adam Bahauss, Louis Johnston and Matt Roome.
The Under 13 North lost 1 - 0 to Bushey and Oxhey with the man of the match going to Adam Leslie.
The Under 13 East played a friendly against Park Street, Ollie Gilmour scored the goal for the Saints.
Under 12 West get to the County Cup Final
The City Youth Under 12 West won their County Cup Semi Final 2 - 0 against Cheshunt Youth thanks to goals from Tomas Robertson & Jack Cullen. The final will take place next Sunday (1st May) at the County Ground Letchworth.
The Under 12 West also had a 2 - 1 win over Harvesters North thanks to goals from Lorenzo Johnson and Jack Cullen.
The Under 12 East Blue had a 2 - 2 draw with Omonia Green, The Saints goals were scored by Charlie Battle and Joe Stone.
Also having a 2 - 2 draw were the Under 12 North against Comets. There were goals from Thomas Coulling and Louis Sampson.
The Under 12 South lost 4 - 1 to Chorleywood Storm. Their only goal was scored by man of the match Jack O'Rahilly.
The Under 12 East Yellow had a fine 7 - 1 win over Tring Tornadoes Tigers. Man of the match Oscar Evans scored 5 (Five) goals then came singles from Mohamed Motiqu and Henry Cox. The Yellows then had a 1 - 0 win over Tornadoes JSC with Tom Every scoring.
City Youth's Under 11 East played Harpenden Colts, the Man of the match went to keeper Joe White for making some fantastic saves.
The Under 11 West played Hertford Harts. The Saints goals were scored by Shay Murphy, Finlay Rees and man of the match Ben Collison.
The Under 11 North played Chorleywood and Harrison Shaw scored.
The Under 10 South played in the Herts County Futsal Finals, they came second in their group by 1 points w2, D1 and L1. Jed Ejjayha scored 2 goals and the two Sam's scored a goal each Sam Ejjayha and Sam Houghton.
The Under 10 East played Whitewebbs. Joe McLeod and Toby Trewin scored.
The Under 10 Central played Hatfield Town. The man of the match went to Matthew Penfold.
The City Youth Under 10 West played Hoddesdon away and there was a goal from Sam Mills. Charlie Clark was named man of the match.
The Under 10 Boreal played Hurst Drive, Goals from Harry Muir 3, Addison Newe-Doyle 3 and Charlie Gunthardt. Man of the match Toma Tashev
The Under 9 West played fellow club mates the Under 9 Central. There were goals from Ben Hodges 3 & Jacob Nyamupingidza. MOM was Birthday Boy Tommy Morgan. Alfie Mair gave a great performance and Matt Gosling also had a good game.
The Under 9 North played Harlow Town. Goals from Finn Scully 2, Adam Gardner and Antonio Desiderio. The man of the match was Noah Butler.
The Under 9 Romans played Ware Rangers and there were goals from Max Winders 2, Ryan Kennedy and Evan Marr.
The Under 9 Orient played two games in the first they played Comets. There was a goal from Bertie Postema. They then played Hemel Aces and the goals came from Bertie Postema, Max Gorgue-Potts 3 & Alex Hails.
The Under 9 Dragons played Ware Lions Under 9s. There were goals scored by Michael Napier and Josh Francois. The man of the match went to Vinny Ogden.
The Under 9 South played Bengeo Tigers, Freddie Yeo scored and Ben Turnbull was man of the match.
The Under 9 East played Ryan Youth. A good game with the East showing some great spirit and determination.
The Under 9 Arrows played Wodson Park. There were goals from Arthur McLaughlin and one from man of the match Oscar Noble.
The Under 9 Saxons played Frontier Youth. Fin Murphy scored with a cracking shot into the top corner.
The Under 16 South drew 1 - 1 with Bishops Stortford. Beth Moss scored and the player of the match went to Lucy Abbot.
The Under 15 Girls North also played Bishops Stortford. The player of the match was Emma Wilkinson.
The Under 15 Girls South lost 3 - 0 to Kinja Rockets despite a strong battling perfomance from all the girls.
The City Youth Under 13 Girls had a good 2 - 0 win over Harvesters Yellows. There were goals from Mia Pinkham 2 and the player of the match was Jess Simpson.
The City Youth Under 9 Girls North played Bedwell Comets, there were goals from Cora Baylis 2. Cora was also named player of the match.
The Under 9 Girls South played Berkhamsted with Florence Tatlock scoring. The player of the match was keeper Erin Mill.
The City Youth Under 8 Girls played Evergreen Ladies at home, there were goals from Grace Gauthier 3, Laila Brown 2, Sophie Birkett 2, Olive Jones and Maya Deans.
