Warriors Reach the Spring Shield Final
The City Youth Under 18 Warriors won 7 - 1 in the Semi Final of the Spring Shield against St Albans Rangers. The Saints goals were scored by Joe Weaver 3, Lewis Glasscoe 3 and a single from Stuart Peet. The man of the match was Lewis Glasscoe.
The Under 18 West lost 3 - 1 to Acorn Raiders. Twanada Manenji scored and Lewis Cutmore was man of the match.
The Under 18 East lost 5 - 0 to Abbotts Youth. Man of the match was Ed Hollis after another impressive defensive performance.
The Under 17 West won 3 - 2 away to Chorleywood Red. The goals were scored by Billy Lawrence, Chris Spratling and one from man of the match Charlie Lunniss.
The Under 16 North won 4 - 1 away to Belstone. Scoring the goals were Euan McDonald, Illias Bakhti, Alfie Booth and Wil Sharp. The man of the match went to Euan McDonald.
The Under 16 North also played Alexandra Park and won 1 - 0 with Ilias Bakhti scoring. Jack Skinner was man of the match.
The Under 16 East won 2 - 1 away to Harpenden Colts thanks to goals from Joe Rock and Sam Abington. The whole team was named man of the match.
The Under 16 Central lost 3 - 8 to Sandridge Rovers. Harrison Gates was named man of the match and also scored two goals. The Saints third goal was scored by Jack Cummings.
The Under 16 Orient lost 2 - 0 to Chorleywood Lions.
The Under 15 Orient played Omonia Youth in the league at home and won the match 4 - 1 thanks to goals from Ibrahim Rahman, Finbar King, Lewis McCall and Luke Gymer. The man of the match was Ibrahim Rahman.
The Under 15 North had a double header against Garston Boys, in match 1 they lost 2 - 1 with Jack Hughes scoring and the whole team being named man of the match. In match 2 they went down 3 - 8 with the goals coming from Jack Hughes, Ben Dimmock and George Heeley. The man of the match was Nathan Glasscoe.
The Under 15 North also played Crawley Green Blacks and lost. The man of the match was Archie Hall.
The Under 15 South had a fine 2 - 1 victory over Berkhamsted Raiders with Harry Smith scoring and Joe Newton being named man of the match.
The Under 15 East drew 1 - 1 with Harpenden Colts Cougars. Harry Docherty scored and Scott Liddell was named man of the match.
The Under 15 West played two matches, in the first they lost 2 - 5 to Evergreen with their goals being scored by Ross Andrews and Matt Nash. The man of the match was Harrison Bean. In their next game they had a 0 - 0 draw with Cassiobury Rangers.
The Under 14 North had a double header against League Champions Edmonton, the Saints lost the first match 1 - 0 but won the second 1 - 0 with a goal from Billy Owen. The man of the match was Tom Carmichael.
The Under 14 North also had a 3 - 0 win over Harpenden Colts Blacks with Billy Owen scoring a hat trick. The man of the match went to Joe Williams.
The Under 14 West won 1 - 0 against Kings Langley with Will Skinner scoring and Scott Redshaw being named man of the match.
The Under 14 East lost 2 - 4 to Bushey and Oxhey with Kobi Nelson and Harry peter scoring. The man of the match was Luca Kershaw who had a great game in goal.
The Under 13 Central played away to Harpenden Colts Tornadoes and won the game 4 - 0 against a very good side who have provided some very tight matches earlier in the season. It was a fantastic opening goal on the 15-minute mark from Matt Roome into the top corner, off the post. The first goal was then followed by two more from Daniel Williams then one from Jack Percy right on half time. The second half was more even with Harpenden playing much better. Man of the Match for the Central was right back, Alex Sommerbauer.
The Under 13 North had a 4 - 4 draw with Harpenden Colts. The goals were scored by Jack Geldard 3 and Myles Donkin. The North also played a friendly against Croxley Green and lost 2 - 4, again the scorers were Myles Donkin and Jack Geldard with a goal each.
The Under 13 East played a double header against Alexandra Park South, they won the first game 3 - 2 thanks to goals from Nasir Zaman, Jack Jennings and Emerson Smith and then lost the second game 1 - 0.
Under 12 West Reach County Cup Semi Final
The Under 12 West finally played their County Cup Quarter Final and marched onto the Semi's thanks to a 2 - 0 win over Berkhamsted Raiders Red. Scoring the goals were Thomas Robertson and Ben Wick.
The Under 12 West also played a league match against Whetstone Wanderers and won 2 - 1 thanks to a last minute winner from Lorenzo Johnson. The first goal was scored by Huw Dawson.
The Under 12 East Yellow played a double header against Bedmond Youth winning both games, the first 4 - 1 with the goals being scored by Oscar Evans 3 and Freddie Laycock and the second 3 - 2 with the goals coming from Brandon Trainis, Freddie Laycock and Thomas Simon.
The Under 12 East Blue lost 2 - 4 at home to Highgate and Muswell Hill Galaxy. The Blues were 4 - 0 down at one stage but hit back with goals from Tom Merritt and Jamie Plus. There were other chances, Merritt hit the bar and Dan Gant hit the post.
The Under 12 South beat Tring Tornadoes 4 - 2 away with the goals coming from George Sippetts, Alex Lawlor, Danny Fowler and one from man of the match Nicholas Casey. The South then played Sarrett Rebels and lost 3 - 1, their only goal came from Alex Lawlor who was also named man of the match.
The Under 11 North played Sun Postal. There were goals from Harrison Shaw 3, Jake Berry 2, Jamie Simmons, Joseph Beardon and Charlie Taylor.
The City Youth Under 11 West played Hertford Heath, Elliott Diprose was named man of the match.
The City Youth Under 10 Orient played Hatfield Town Blues, there was a goal from Callum Crowther in the last minute of the game. The man of the match was Luca Fiuco.
The City Youth Under 10 South played Broomfield Academy in a very tight match. There were goals from Sam Ejjayha, Charlie Easterby and Toby Joyce (Welcome back Toby after six weeks out with an injury. The man of the match was Ben Huddleston.
The Under 10 Central played Wormley Whites. There were goals from Oliver Taylor and Angus Twidell. The man of the match went to Max McCaullife.
The City Youth Under 10 West played Cuffley Scorpions away on a very muddy pitch following overnight rain. There were goals from Sam Mills 3 and 2 from man of the match Archie Connolly.
The City Youth Under 9 East played Welwyn Pegasus. There were goals from Josh Kleiner-Mann and Johnny Bennett. Man of the match was Liam Powell.
The Under 9 Romans played Enfield Elite Feet Pumas in a great game. There were goals from Imad Syed 2, Ryan Kennedy and Jack Reeves.
The Under 9 South played Wheathamstead Tigers and what a game it was with chances for both sides. Scoring the goals were Josh Smith 2, Steven Jacobs and Owen Weaver. The man of the match was keeper Ben Pearlman.
The Under 9 North played Ware Lions, there were goals scored by Louis Daly 2 and Finn Scully, Finn was also named man of the match.
The Under 9 Orient played fellow club mates the Under 9 West. There were goals from Dean Bladon 2, Alex Hails 2, Dima Gusev and Thomas Boca-Mapp. Man of the match for the West was keeper Josh Woodley.
The City Youth Under 9 Dragons played Welwyn Garden Pegasus. There were goals from Michael Napier and Dylan Norman. Harry Barnes was the man of the match.
The Saints Under 9 Saxons played Ware Lions Whites. Sam Estell and Ailbe Todd scored.
The Under 8 North played a friendly with Cheshunt Amber. The goals were scored by Jacob Standing 3, Kaden Rajkumar 3, Alfie Bedell 2, Ethan Evans and Chris Dutuba. The man of the match was Ethan Evans.
The Under 8 East played Cuffley Pumas in a very high scoring match. There were goals from Samuel Philpot 3, Arthur Rennie-Sivell, Arthur Vessey and Danny Quinn. The man of the match was William Dorey.
The Under 8 West played at home to Hoddesdon Town Reds. The goal scorers were Daniel Berman, Toby Short 3 and Freddie Stewart. The man of the match was Alex Evershed.
The City Youth Under 8 South played Panshanger Lions. The man of the match was Jake Allen.
The Under 16 Girls North played Harvesters (the first of two matches) the player of the match was Maxine Hotz. In their second game they had a narrow 2 - 1 defeat to Watford Wasps with Maxine Hotz scoring and Natasha Ellingham being named player of the match.
The Under 16 Girls South lost 1 - 4 to Bedwell Girls, Eliza Brown scored and Beth Moss was named player of the match.
Despite the Under 15 Girls North losing 5 - 0 at home to Kings Langley they still put on great performance. The joint player of the match went to Melissa Trulock and Isobel Todd.
The Under 15 Girls South lost to Bishops Stortford. The goals for the Saints were scored by Grainne Kellett and Charlotte Banks.
The Under 14 Girls played a double header against Bury Rangers, they won the first game 2 - 1 with Bo Westcombe-Evans and Hayley Aldridge-Trounce scoring. The player of the match was Nicole Lang. In the second game the points were shared after a 1 - 1 draw. The Saints goals was scored by Bo Westcombe-Evans and the player of the match went to Laura Newman-Monaghan.
The Under 11 Girls South played a friendly with Harpenden Colts. There were goals from Gabby Templeman and two from Jaime Curtain.
The Under 11 Girls North played Letchworth Girls. There were goals scored by Tatyana Barton 2 and Caitlin Hugo. The player of the match was Briony Stachini.
The Under 10 Girls South played Bedwell Rangers, during the game there were goals scored by Maisie Humphreys 4, Jemima Avery 2 and Grace MacMurray 2. The player of the match was Miranda Gordon.
