St Albans City Youth Deaf FC

The City Youth Deaf team won 4 - 3 away at Brighton Deaf with Hilford John netting the winning goal with 2 minutes to go after Kevin Walker made the headlines with a hat trick. Next up for the City Youth Deaf team is an away trip to Peterborough.

St Albans City Youth FC - Boys

Under 18

The Under 18 Warriors moved into the Semi Final of the Spring Shield with a quarter final win (7 - 0) over Chorleywood Common. Scoring the goals were Stuart Peet 2, Joe Weaver 2, Lewis Glasscoe, Tom Blight and Lawrence Wilson.

The Under 18 West lost 4 - 1 to Bovingdon with their only goal being scored by Ben Morten. Shaun Aylwood was named man of the match.

The Under 18 East lost 3 - 0 to Acorn Raiders. Billy Rintoul was named man of the match.

The Under 17 West had a narrow 2 - 1 defeat to St Albans Rangers in the Quarter Final of the Spring Shield. Billy Lawrence scored their only goal and R Impleton was named man of the match.

Under 16

The Under 16 South drew 1 - 1 with Hemel Hempstead Red with Omar Bounyafe scoring their only goal. The man of the match was Khalid Uddin.

The Under 16 Orient had a 1 - 0 victory over Harpenden Colts thanks to a strike from Harrison Bell.

The Under 16 North had a narrow 2 - 1 defeat to Alexandra Park North in the league. Owen Greenbank scored and Jack Skinner was named man of the match.

The Under 16 East lost to Olympiacos in the Spring Shield Semi Final.

Under 15

In the Watford Friendly League Red Division the Under 15 Orient won 3 - 2 against AC Finchley North with the goals being scored by Louis Howard 2 and Finbar King.

The Under 15 South lost 2 - 3 to Chorleywood with Harry Smith and Joe Newton scoring the goals for the Saints. Max Bell was named man of the match.

Under 14

The Under 14 North played Omonia in the League Cup Semi Final and thanks to goals from Dan Banerjee and Sam Mistry they won the game 2 - 1 and progress to the final. The man of the match was shared between Thomas Geller and Chris Rowe who dominated and run the midfield.

The Under 14 Orient could only field 9 players and therefore lost their match against Hemel Athletic 6 - 3. The Saints goals were scored by Peter Rock 2 (Peter also hit the bar late on with a free lick) and Osama Moutiq.

Under 13

The Under 13 Central had a good 7 - 2 win over EB Lions with man of the match Matt Roome scoring four goals, there were further strikes from Daniel Williams 2 and Alex Sommerbauer.

The Under 13 South lost 4 - 0 to Finchley with the man of the match going to Louis Baker-Madec.

Under 12

The Under 12 West beat AC Finchley 6 - 2 thanks to goals from Lorenzo Johnson 3, Huw Dawson 2 and Tom Randall. The man of the match went to the whole team.

The Under 12 East Yellows played a double header against Berkhamsted Raiders Yellow, in the first game the Saints won 3 - 0 thanks to a five minute hat trick from Oscar Evans. In the second match the Saints won 8 - 1 thanks to two more goals from Oscar Evans and Six from Brandon Trainis. There were at least five assists from Josh Hill.

The Under 12 North played Bovingdon and won the match 4 - 2 thanks to goals from Daniel Curran and three goals from man of the match Louis Sampson.

Under 11

The Under 11 East played Welwyn Pegasus Skys in the semi final of the Indigo Divisional Cup. The Saints won 2 - 0 thanks to two goals from man of the match James Nash.

The Under 11 West played Hertford Harts. There were goals from Aaron Rawlings (also man of the match), Finlay Rees and Muhammad Rahman.

The Under 11 South played Broxbourne Borough Blues.

Under 10

The City Youth Under 10 Boreals played away at Broomfield Academy Under 10 Yellows. This was a great game with a positive performance from those involved. Scoring the goals were Harry Muir, Jackson McArthur and Carlos Johnson 2, Carlos was also named man of the match.

The Under 10 Central played Risden Wood Rangers in a very exciting game for both teams. There were goals from Joe Varney 2, Sam Ejjayha, Jed Ejjayha and Fin Evans. The man of the match went to Joe Varney.

The Under 10 Orient from City Youth played Watton Youth. The goal scorers were Callum Crowther 2, Barney Amess 2 and Archie Bentley. The man of the match was Barney Amess. Keeper George Ilari also saved a penalty.

The Under 10 Victoria played Berkhamsted Raiders in what was a great match for all taking part and all those watching from the sidelines. There were goals scored by Cameron Wilson, Archie Hobbs and one from man of the match Kayan Joseph.

The Under 10 West played Letchworth Garden City Eagles Blacks. The man of the match was Lenny Brandon who was excellent in defence.

Under 9

The City Youth Under 9 West played Watford Youth at Highfield Park and what a great match it was with two goals coming from Jacob Nyamupingidza who was also named as joint man of the match along with Tommy Morgan who had a great game.

The City Youth Under 9 North played Hertford and in a very enjoyable match there were goals from Antonio Desiderio 2 and Sean Gallagher. The man of the match went to Finn Scully.

The Under 9 South from City Youth played away at Lemsford Lions. In a game of two half's there were goals from Steven Jacobs 3, Asa Stewart-Harris 2 and James Beasley. There was a joint man of the match, shared between Ben Turnbull and Xavier Fenton.

The Under 9 East played Bury Rangers Reds. There were goals from Tom Jennings and Johnny Bennett. The man of the match went to Ollie Denyer.

The Under 9 Saxons played Watton Youth away. There were four goals scored by Sam Estell.

The Under 9 Central played Watford and there were goals from Ethan Sieger and Tyler Hall. The man of the match was George Parker.

The Under 9 Arrows played away to Harlow Town Eagles. Oscar Noble scored and Callum Howells was named man of the match.

The City Youth Under 9 Romans played Welwyn Tornadoes with the man of the match going to Max Winders.

Under 8

The City Youth Under 8 West also played a team from the Broomfield Academy (the Greys). Goals were scored by Alex Evershed, Toby Short 2 and Freddie Stewart. The man of the match was Romeo Rojas.

The Under 8 North played Hoddesdon Under 8 Black. There were goals from Ethan Evans and Alfie Bedell 2. The man of the match went to Judd Austin.

The Under 8 South played St Georges Vipers and Jacob Thomas was named man of the match.

St Albans City Youth FC - Girls

Under 16

The Under 16 Girls North played Enfield Town Ladies. Danielle Tyler scored for the Saints and the player of the match went to Ellen Fox who was in goal. There was also a good performance from Maxine Hotz in what was her first match for the team.

The Under 16 Girls South lost to Bedford Girls and the player of the match went to Rosie McGahan.

Under 14

The Under 14 Girls laost to Knebworth Girls due to only be able to field 7 players. All were named player of the match, Isabel Yates, Sophie Bates, Amy Cowan, Laura Newman-Monaghan, Hannah McCorkindale, Grace Fletcher and Nicole Lang.

Under 13

The Under 13 Girls had a good 9 - 2 win over Herts Girls with Mia Pinkham in fine form with Six goals. Laura Gifford scored 2 goals and player of the match Sian Watson also scored.

Under 9

The Under 9 Girls North played Garston ladies Pumas and Evie Cussans was named player of the match.
