St Albans City Youth – Girls

Under 16

The Under 16 Girls North and were once again hit by injuries and thus went down 2 – 6 to Hitchin Belles. Scoring the goals for the North were Danielle Tyler with both goals. The player of the match went to striker Natasha Ellingham.

The Under 16 Girls South had a narrow defeat (0-1) to Garston Ladies. The whole team played well and the player of the match went to Abbie Smith.

Under 14

The Under 14 Girls had an impressive 4 – 1 victory over Broomfield Academy, scoring the goals were Bo Westcombe-Evans with two goals, Sophie Bates, Sophie Bates and scoring her first goal for the team was Isabel Yates. The whole squad shared the player of the match award following this great display.

Under 12

The Under 12 Girls South defeated Garston Wildcats 5 – 0 with goals from Emma To 2, Nicole Plumb 2 (Nicole was also named player of the match) and Jasmine Price.

Under 11

The Under 11 Girls North played Hemel Hempstead Red. During the game there were goals from player of the match Caitlin Wheeler 4, Keira Ward 3, Tatyana Barton 3, Briony Stachini and Caitlin Hugo.

The Under 11 Girls South played Bengeo Tigers and there were goals from Orla Moss and Natasha Soll.

Under 10

The Under 10 Girls South played away to Berkhamsted and there were goals from Grace MacMurray and Jemima Avery, the player of the match went to Esme Bush.

The Under 10 Girls North played at home to Garston Ladies Jaguars. There was a goal for Amelia Thompson after a fantastic solo run. The player of the match was awarded to Freya Bolam.

Under 9

The Girls Under 9 North played a match at home to Garston ladies Leopards. There were goals scored by Amy Reeves 3, Evie Cussans, Caitlin Adair and one from player of the match Georgina Blandford.

The Under 9 Girls South played Garston Panthers and Stella Eklad-Piscitelli scored and Fabiola Kabelis was named player of the match.

St Albans City Youth – Boys

Under 18

The Under 18 East lost by six goals to nil to Bedmond Youth. The man of the match was Harry Henderson following a great display in the centre of midfield.

The Under 18 Orient also lost, this time to Harpenden Colts. The man of the match was Stephen Heather.

Under 16

The Under 16 North defeated Olympiacos 2 – 1 thanks to 2 goals from James McCallum. The man of the match was Dan Newton.

The Under 16 East WFL l0st a close match to AC Finchley North 2 – 1 in the League Cup Quarter Final. The Saints dominated the game but just could not score the equalising goal. The Saints goal was scored by man of the match Joe Vance.

The Under 16 Central lost to Harpenden Tigers, the man of the match was Alex Brace.

The Under 16 South lost 5 – 2 to Hemel Town Red. Ben Gosling and Ronan Marie-Moutou scored and Brad Slocombe was named man of the match.

The Under 16 East WHYL played at home to Evergreen and went down 3 – 5. The saint’s goals were scored by man of the match Michael Coffee, Sam Abington and Conor Jungnickel.

Under 15

The Under 15 West moved into the semi-final of the Junior Cup after a 3 – 2 Quarter Final win over Cassiobury Rangers. Scoring the goals were Casey Akajioyi 2 and Kai Takahashi. The man of the match went to Ollie Wakeling.

The Under 15 North lost to Croxley Green Blacks with Jack Hughes scoring both goals. The man of the match went to Dominic Dee.

The Under 15 South went out of the Cup after losing to Chorleywood. The man of the match was Scott Gentle.

The Under 15 Orient also lost when they played AEK Eagles Black. There was a goal from man of the match Michael Gabblah.

Under 14

The Under 14 Orient lost to Ashton Clinton Colts. Peter Rock Scored and Bly Wilding was named man of the match.

Under 13

The Under 13 Central played at home to Little Gaddesden Rangers and won the match 5 – 2 thanks to goals from man of the match Daniel Williams 4 and Luke Hill. Special mention must go to Joe Moss, Alex Sommerbauer and Ben Sommerbauer.

The Under 13 North had a narrow defeat 1-2 to Kings Langley. Myles Donkin scored and Freddie Collins was named man of the match.

The Under 13 East played away at Gadeside Rangers and lost narrowly 4 – 3. Scoring for the Saints was man of the match Nasir Zaman and Mustaqim Boksh.

Under 12

The Under 12 West had a 3 – 3 draw away at Edmonton Rovers Owls with goals from Huw Dawson 2 and Aidan Walsh. The man of the match went to keeper Max Emmet.

The Under 12 South played at home to Bushey and Oxhey Falcons and earned a 5 – 2 win thanks to goals from James Justice 2, Jack O’Rahilly, Matthew Napier and Samuel Baker-Madec.

Under 11

The Under 11 South played Welwyn Pegasus. There were goals from Nicholas Berman, Jamie McLeod, Adam Savvides, Charlie Johnson and man of the match George Angel.

The Under 11 East played Wheathamstead Wanderers Sharks. The goals were scored by James Nash 2, Callum Maguire and man of the match Charlie Richards.

The Under 11 West played Harpenden Cyclones, the goals came from Leo Tashev 2, Finlay Bees and Jake Chaudhry. The man of the match went to Flynn Sweeney.

Under 10

The Under 10 South played at home to Knebworth Oranges with William Houghton scoring. Finlay Evans was named man of the match.

Playing away at Enfield Youth were the Under 10 Central. There were goals from Matthew Penfold and Akere Ngu. The man of the match went to Maxim Hayes.

Also playing away were the Under 10 Orient who played at Wormley Whites. Callum Crowther scored.

Under 9

The Under 9 West played Hemel Hempstead.
