In the second half a curling corner kick from Gosling struck the cross bar but he was then left with a simple tap in to make it 3 – 1. It soon became 4 – 1 when Gosling found Juned Miah inside the box and although he had three attempts blocked he managed to force the ball over the line at his fourth attempt. The goal of the match came from brad Kelly-Keener with a tremendous 35 yard free kick which flew like a rocket into the top left hand corner to make it 5 – 1. Late in the game MOTM Anthony Gosling completed his hat trick with another firm low drive after being setup by Josh Harpin.

Under 11’s
And again! Despite valiant play by the Under 11’s Girls North in their County Cup match against fellow club mates the Under 11’s Girls South , an unlucky last minute scramble around the goal allowed the ball to scrape over the line for the game to end with the South as 1-0 winners with Phoebe Skinner scoring. The North were again a competitive hardworking team that justifiably deserved not to lose. Everyone again played to their utmost with, this week, Lorna ‘taking one in the face’, Jess throwing herself on a number of occasions in front of the ball and Amberley and Charlotte doing some solid kicking. Grainne & Mollie again excelled. Molly Johnson was named player of the match for the South with Lorna Speed getting the award for the North. Report by Sue Chick

Playing a well organised Welwyn Pegasus side saw the Under 10’s West lose 9 – 1 with George Pelham scoring the only goal for the West.
Under 9’s
Another good victory for the Under 9’s South, home to Wodson Park, although somewhat of a game of two halves. The boys were a little slow out of the blocks but they picked it up towards the end of the first half and were much better in the second. Two goals from Harvey Connor steadied the ship. Louis Baker-Madec scored again as well as one of the more unusual goals of the season from Scott Ovenden who was rewarded for his effort today and for following in the ball that he chested goal ward to force it over the line with a second touch from his body. Alex Harris put in a good performance at the back as did Charlie Barnett on the right. His pace along with Scott's is enough to frighten anyone. Final score 4 – 2 to the Saints. Report by Mark and Kevin
