Under 18’s

Although the Under 18’s South put up a spirited team display against Glen Sports they finally lost 2 – 0.

 

The Under 18’s Ladies started their new season in the Beds & Herts Girls / Women’s League with a 5 – 0 away defeat to local rivals Harvesters. Amy Farmer was unlucky with an effort that struck the cross bar as the girls tried to fight back early in the second half when the score line was 3 – 0. Holly Clarke was named star player for the Under 18’s Ladies.

Under 16’s

In a local derby match against St Albans Rangers the Under 16’s South shared the points with a 4 – 4 draw following an end to end match with each team taking turns to be in front. George Calverley led the goal scorers with a hat trick, whilst Niall Watts popped up with a single.

 

Away to Panathinaikos were the Under 16’s North and although they lost the first half 2 – 0 in the second half they drew 2 – 2 to lose the game 4 – 2. Both the saints’ goals came from Luke Ferdinand with the man of the match going to Max Andrew.

 

Under 15’s

Although there were goals from MOTM Kieran Thorne and Anthony Gosling for the Under 15’s East they still lost 3 – 2 despite a good performance against Everett Rovers Blue.

Also playing Everett Rovers were the Under 15’s North and at half time the score was 1 – 1, however by the full time whistle the Saints had conceded to lose the match 4 – 1, the scorer for the saints was Jack Collard.

 

Under 14’s

In the County Cup the Under 14’s Boreal defeated Potters Bar United Black by four goals to nil with MOTM Sian Khan-Boylan scoring a hat trick whilst Thomas Lander scored the fourth.

Harry Fennel scored the equalising goal for the Under 14’s North in their 1 – 1 draw with London Maccabi Lions at home.

 

Under 13’s

The Under 13’s West were at home to Hemel Aces in the County Cup and the west won the game 2 – 0 with goals from Harry Hawks and Alfie Seeby. Cameron Pearce was named MOTM.

Also in the county cup were the Under 13’s South and they went down 4 – 0 at home to Bury rangers Green.

Following a very exciting game the Under 13’s East finally lost by the odd goal in five with Billy Rintoul and Danny Clews scoring for the saints.

 

Under 12’s

There were some good goals from Ollie Hann, James Nicholson and Giuseppe Basile for the Under 12’s East as they beat Sumners Youth 3 – 1 in the County Cup, centre back Cain Joseph was named MOTM.

In a high scoring match between the Under 12’s North and Omonia the North edged out their opponents to win the match 5 – 4 with goals from David Etheridge 3, and a brace from Tom Levy.

The Under 12’s played London Maccabi Lions Blue in a league match and the South won by xix goals to two with Ben Gosling leading the scorers with a well deserved brace. The other goals came from Art O’Neill, Adam Skinner, Harry Ross and Ali Fardello.

 

Under 11’s

In the League Cup the Under 11’s North recorded a 2 – 0 away win over Evergreen Juniors with Dominic Dee scoring both goals. Cameron Smith was named MOTM and Keeper Nathan Glasscoe had a great game between the sticks.

Another player who scored a hat trick on the opening day of the season was Joe Newton as he led the Under 11’s South to a 4 – 1 victory over Cuffley Lions, Callum Hunter scored the fourth goal.

The Under 11’s West had an excellent 6 – 2 win over Wodson Park with the goal scorers being Cameron Clarke 2, Jack Rose, Ross Andrews, Harrison Bean and Matthew Nash.

Brendan Warren scored the only goal for the Under 11’s Orient as the lost 4 – 1 to Leverstock Green Acorns in the West Herts League.

 

Under 10’s

Trailing 1 – 0 were the Under 10’s West in their home match with Ware Youth but they hit back with Adam Johnson scoring an equaliser just before halt time. Following a good passing move in the second half George Pelham scored the winning goal for the west for the final score to be 2 – 1. Making an impressive display for the team were James Johnson and Kishan Dhivar.

Scoring two goals in each half were the Under 10’s East in their 4 – 1 home win over Kings Langley. The scorers were Bradley Osborn, Harry Peter, Aaron Peter and Swaley Smith. The MOTM went to the hard working James Liu.

James Knapp and George fennel scored a goal each for the Under 10’s South in their 2 – 1 home win against Harpenden Colts. Dynamic Hendrik Bockenhauer was named MOTM after a fine display in the back four.

Away to Hemel Aces Blue were the Under 10’s North and they earned a point with a 1 v 1 draw with Joe Curran scoring the saints only goal. The MOTM award went to midfielder Ryan Ord.

 

Under 9’s

At home to King George Vipers the Under 9’s West won 3 – 1 with goals from Charlie Stewart 2 and a single from Joe Cussans. Goal keeper Ed Earl put on a match saving performance throughout the game.

Louis Baker-Madec scored two goals in the first half and one in the second to complete his hat trick to give the Under 9’s South a 3 v 2 home win over Wheathamstead Sharks. Making their debuts for the South were Scott Ovenden and Harvey Connor who both played well. Sam Doidge was named MOTM.

The Under 9’s Central, at home to Whetstone Pumas swept to a 9 – 0 victory with Tome McVeigh scoring a hat trick and his brother John McVeigh hitting two goals. The other scorers were Elliot Smith, Nick Powdrell, Dan Bayliss and Luis Morento.

 

Under 8's

Under 8’s West played a fun match with Panshanger Lions with goals from Edward McJannet 3 and Luke Roberts.

The Under 8’s North played a fun match with Tring Tornados Leopards with goals from Samual Baker-Madec, Ryan Corcoran and Jack Carmichael.
