Under 18’s
The Under 18 Girls were in rampant form as they ran out 9 – 1 winners away at Cranfield Ladies
with Amy Farmer scoring a great hat trick. The other scorers were Holly Sheriden with two, she was also the player of the match, plus singles from Joanna Ji and Janae Guishard-Pine who were both making their debuts for the club. Also getting on the score sheet were Abigail Kemball-Cooke and Holly Clarke with a 30 yard scorcher into the top corner. Also having a great debut was keeper Hannah Peppett.
Away to AC Finchley South saw the Under 18’s East come back with a point after a tough 3 – 3 draw with goals from Nathan Watkins, Adriano Gil and Matt Springall with striker Freddie Dines being named MOTM.
Under 16’s
The Under 16’s North found that football is a hard game when after twenty five minutes they lost keeper Scott Harper and Callum Peet took over in goal, although he had a fine game between the sticks he could do nothing when the hosts, Bedmond Ajax snatched a dramatic last second winner to win this Challenge Cup tie 1 – 0. The MOTM went to the hard working defender Jamie Renfrew.
Starting with eleven players plus a sub, the Under 16’s South finished the game with just eight players due to a run of injuries as they lost 8 – 0 to Wheathamstead Wanderers.
Under 15’s
At home to Omonia Youth saw the Under 15’s Girls lose 2 – 1 after a very close match with Georga Knight scoring for the saints.
At home to Whetstone saw the Under 15’s East leading 2 – 1 at half time but two quick goals after the break and another late on saw the saints go down 4 – 2. Anthony Gosling scored both the goals for the saints.
Away to Olympiacos were the Under 15’s North as they lost 2 – 0 with a goal in each half. Goal keeper Alasdair Walker had a exceptional game with some great saves during the match.
Under 14’s
The Under 14’s North played two games this week, firstly they lost 2 – 0 away to Alexandra Park East with Gerardo Smaldone being named MOTM. In their second match they beat nascot Wood 9 – 1 in the County Cup. The scorers for the saints were Charlie Ward 4, Akin Akinbinu 2, Gerardo Smaldone, Callum Clifford (Pen) and a further penalty from Alex Levy.
Leading 3 – 0 at half time to Croxley Guild at home in the second round of the County Cup saw the Udner 14’s Warriors race away to a 7 – 1 win by the final whistle. Two players scored hat tricks, Samual Waters-Rathjen and Ed Anders, scoring the final goal was Eddie Amato with a cracking 30 yard shot that flew into the back of the net past the Croxley keeper.
At home to Aston Clinton saw the Under 14’s Boreal lose 4 – 2 with Sian Khan-Boylan and Jack Ypey scoring the goals. Thomas Lander was named MOTM.
The Under 14’s West crashed out of the County Cup when they lost 5 – 0 away to Letchworth City Eagles.
Under 13's
The Under 13's Girls came from being 2-0 down to beat Berkhamsted Raiders 4-2. In the first half, a physically strong Berkhamsted team defended in depth and scored 2 break away goals down the right flank before Olivia Almond scored for the young saints just before half time. In the second half, excellent saints passing against the tiring Berkhamsted team, resulted in goals from Lili Brown, Katie Lee and Ellen Jukes. Ellen Jukes was named Player of the Match for her tireless running and effective passing on the left wing. The opposition nominated Katie Lee as their player of the match.
Away to Baldock Town saw the Under 13’s North go out of the County Cup when they lost 2 – 1 after a close game with Charlie Bennett scoring the only goal for the saints.
At home to Hendon saw the Under 13’s South record a fine 3 – 1 victory with goals from Finlay Auld, Charlie Stubbs and Luke Winks, James Nasah was named MOTM.
Following a high scoring match away to Panathinaikos saw Harry deacon pop up to score a late winner for the Udner 13’s West to win 6 – 5. Scoring the other goals were Jake Anthony 2, Josh Emmins, Sebatain Camp and Charlie Moffatt with keeper Jamie Fanning having a very good game.
The Under 13’s East came from a goal down at home to Nascot Wood to win 2 – 1 with Ben Parry equalising just before half time. Billy Rintoul curled in the winner midway during the second half.
Away to local rivals St Albans Rangers in the County Cup saw the Under 13’s Orient lead 3 – 0 at half time, they then scored another four to win the match 7 – 0. Leading the scorers was Owen ladbrooke with four great goals, there were singles from Oscar Hughes, Toby Zell and Matthew Pollard. Standin keeper Tom Nicholson was named MOTM.
Under 12’s
The Under 12’s North snatched a last minute win against a good Boreham Wood Youth side to finish the match 4 – 3 with Dannielle Tyler scoring a hat trick and Emily Schofield scoring the winning goal. Romy Kelleher was named player of the match.
Away to Garston saw the Under 12’s Girls South lose 6 – 0 with defender Nia Williams battling to the end being named player of the match.
With his brother scoring two goals for the Under 15’s East on the next pitch, Ben Gosling also got into the act when he scored four goals for the Under 12’s South in their 8 – 1 home win over Cassiobury Rangers in the Challenge Cup. Matty Gallagher scored two goals. Andrew Bailey also popped up with two goals, his second from the penalty spot, for the visitors a goal from Alex Cox was a reward for his teams efforts during the whole of the match.
The Udner 12’s North, away to Alexandra Park South in the Challenge Cup cruised into the next round with a 12 – 1 victory. Leading the scorers was Danny Diviny with three, then came Daniel Emovon 2, Tom levy 2, James McCallum 2, Alfie Booth, Chris Hubbard and Ned Robinson.
Away to Tring Tornados were the Under 12’s Orient who won 4 – 0 with two goals from Max Saunders plus two from Zach Littenstone. The MOTM went to Max Saunders.
Jacob Pearlman scored the consolation goal for the Under 12’s West as they lost 8 – 1 away at Bovingdon in the League.
Under 11’s
At home to Watford Ladies were the Under 11’s Girls South who turned in a great performance to win 4 – 1 with Lauren Standing scoring two goals plus singles from Molly Woodland and Phoebe Skinner. Tricky winger Hannah Coote was named player of the match.
After a very tight game against Lemsford the Under 11’s West won the match 4 – 3 with Cameron Clark scoring the winner in the last minute, which also completed his hat trick. The other goal was scored by Ross Andrews.
In the Challenge Cup match between the Under 11’s North and Omonia Green saw the North win 6 – 3 after extra time. Dominic Dee, who was MOTM scored a hat trick , Jack Hughes, matthew Breeze and Harry Smith all scored singles.
The Under 11’s Orient lost 6 – 0 against Park Street Village.
At half time the Under 11’s South were leading 3 – 0 against Welwyn Pegasus with Joe Newton scoring all three goals, he also scored his fourth in the second half. But this could not stop the South losing the match 5 – 4. Defender Harrison Doyle was named MOTM.
Away in the league saw the Under 11’s East strike ten goals without reply against Hemel Vikings. The goal scorers for the saints were, Finlay Banks 3, Toby Byron 2, Ernesto Robriquez, Michael Gabblah, Callum Sweeny, Kwame Youri plus one from MOTM Kai Chan.
Under 10’s
The Under 10’s Girls turned in a good display at home to Kings Langley but eventually lost 4 – 1 with Jessica Simpson scoring for the saints. Moriona Horne-Batet was named player of the match.
Billy Owen scored a hat trick for the Under 10’s North as they won 3 – 0 away to Tring Tornados with Jarvis Wilkinson being named MOTM.
The Under 10’s South drew 2 – 2 away at Abbots Youth with goals from George fennel and Joe Parrett.
Kishan Dhivari scored the only goal for the Under 10’s West as they lost 3 – 1 at Hertford Herts following a very close game.
At half time the Under 10’s East were leading 2 – 0 away to Bovingdon Lighting with goals from Swaley Smith and Aaron Peter. In the second half furth goals from Henry Oliver, Ryan Ward plus another from Aaron Peter saw them finish 5 – 1 winners. The MOTM went to Ben Harris.
Under 9’s
Louis Baker-Madec was in great form for the Under 9’s South as he struck a hat trick in their 6 – 2 away win over Potters Bar Crusaders. Scoring the other goals were Mark Allan, Harvey Connor and Will Baynham.
Luke Hill, Tim Davies and Louis Johnston all scored a goal apiece for the Under 9’s West as they beat Bury Rangers 3 – 0.
Away to Ware Red were the Under 9’s Central and they won 7 – 1 with goals from John McVeigh 2, Luis Moreno 2, Nick Powdrell, Elliott Smith and Tom McVeigh. Angelo Calatrava was named MOTM.
The Under 9’s North fought out a very exciting 3 – 3 draw with Hertford with two goals from Marcus Cunnington plus one from Jake Fleming.
Under 8’s
The Under 8’s North played a fun match at home with Croxley Guild. Goals came from Jack Carmichael 3, Ryan Corcoran and Sam McKenna. The MOTM award went to Samuel Baker-Madec.
The Under 8’s South played a fun match away at Sarrett Rebels, Leo Geymonat scored and the MOTM went to Alex Laking-Jerez.
The Under 8’s West played a fun match with Hertford with goals from Edward McJannet and Huw Dawson, with Finlay Tetlow being named MOTM.
