St Albans City Youth – Boys

Under 18

The Under 18 West played Bovingdon and lost the game by the odd goal in five (2-3). The goals were scored by man of the match Twanada Manenji and Matthew Hubbard.

The Under 18 Orient played Evergreen and Freddie Bennett was named man of the match. The Under 18 East played Hemel Red and after a tough match Billy Rintoul was named man of the match.

Under 16

The Under 16 North beat Alexandra park 5 – 2 in the Quarter Final of the Challenge Cup. The goals for the Saints were scored by Will Sharp, man of the match Chris Hubbard, Hugh Gaffney, Youness Bakhti and Gianpaolo Manzi.

Under 15

The Under 15 Orient played fellow club mates the Under 15 South, in a tough match on a heavy pitch it was the Orient who won the game 3 – 2. The Orients goals were scored by Finbar King, Lewis McCall and one from man of the match Ibrahim Rahman. For the South scoring the goals was Ross Weaver. The South’s man of the match was Joe Newton.

Under 14

The Under 14 West played Berkhamsted and won the game 17-0. Scoring for the Saints were Evander Port 5, Stefan Martin 4, James Knapp 2, Adam Johnson 2, William Shepherd, William Skinner, Louis Paganuzzi and Jem Andrew.

The Under 14 Orient beat Hemel Town 3 – 2 with Peter Rock 2 and Bly Wilding scoring the goals.

Under 13

The Under 13 North went out of the cup in a high scoring game against Redbourn (4-7). Scoring for the Saints were Harvey Connor 2, Diego Pazaran-Butler and Momodou Njie.

Playing away were the Under 13 South who beat AC Finchley 2- 1 in the Challenge Cup. Scoring the goals were Anthony Graham and Conor Kelly. There was a joing man of the match shared between Sam Doidge and Anthony Graham.

The Under 13 Central beat Watford Youth Sports White 9 – 1 in the Challenge Cup. The Saints were trailing 1 – 0 but hit back in style with goals from Josh Penning 3, Daniel Williams 2, Alex Sommerbauer, Angelo Calatrava, Luke Hill and one from man of the match Matt Roome.

The Under 13 East lost 3 – 1 to Hadley Wood. Nasir Zaman scored and Muba Kiomone was named man of the match.

The Under 13 Orient lost 1 – 3 to Park Street. It was a close match but the Saints eventually went down to the league leaders. Brendan Donegan scored. Logan Subramanian was named man of the match following some great goal keeping.

Under 12

The Under 12 East Blue beat Boreham Wood 6 – 2 with the goals coming from Charlie Battle (all Six).

The Under 12 South lost 1 – 3 to Sun Sports Yellow with James Justice scoring.

Under 11

The Under 11 South drew 3 – 3 with Wormley Reds. Scoring the goals were James Gale, Matthew Martin, Nicholas Berman. The man of the match went to Jamie McLeod.

Under 10

The Under 10 East played Royston and there were goals from David Iacobucci, Joel Whitworth and Jensen Dean.

The Under 10 Boreal played Hertford Town Bucks in a great match. There were goals from Addison Newe-Doyle 4, Harry Muir 2, Carlos Johnson, Charlie Gunthardt and one own goal. The star player was Harry Muir who was dominating in both midfield and attack.

The Under 10 Orient played Ware Lions in another great game. There were goals from Harley Jack 2, Joe Varney 2, and one from man of the match Cameron Bates.

The Under 10 Victoria played Comets. The goals were scored by man of the match Archie Hobbs and Martin Flore. This was a fantastic second half performance from the Saints.

The Under 10 West played away to Hoddesdon Town Whites. The match was played at Hoddesdon due to the home pitch being under water. The goals were scored by man of the match Sam Mills 3 and Charlie Clark.

Under 9

The Under 9 West had a great match against Hemel Town. There was a superb performance from Tommy Morgan plus goals from Josh Ladyman 3 (he was also named man of the match) and Ben Hodges.

The Under 9 North played Harlow, there were goals from Adam Gardner 2, Antonio Desiderio and Noah Butler.

The Under 9 East played Hertford Town Stags with Liam Powell scoring and Josh Kleiner-Mann was named man of the match.

The Under 9 orient played Harpenden Colts Pumas. Great game with goals for both teams. Scoring were Dean Blandon 3, Bertie Postema 2 and Thomas Boca-Mappi.

The Under 9 Central played Chorleywood. Scoring were Tyler Hall, Ollie Porter and one from man of the match Maxwell Hayes.

The Under 9 Dragons played Harlow Town Youth. Scoring were man of the match Joshua Francois 2 and Harry Barnes.

The Under 9 Arrows played Broxbourne Whites. Scoring for the Saints were Arthur McLaughlin 2, Ben Browning, Oscar Noble and Louis Godfrey. The star player was keeper Max Butterworth.

The Under 9 Saxons played Watton Youth with Sam Estell scoring.

St Albans City Youth – Girls

Under 16’s

The Under 16 Girls North lost to harvesters, once again the North were short of players. The goals were scored by Emily Schofield and Danielle Tyler. The player of the match went to Shauna Smith.

The Under 16 Girls South beat Watford Harts 3 – 1 thanks to goals from Rosie McGhan, Abby Durrant and one from player of the match Francesca Ralfe.

Under 12

The Under 12 Girls South lost 3 – 1 to Hitchin Belles in the County Cup. Emma To scored a stunning goal from outside of the box and Georgie Reynolds was named player of the match.

Under 11

The Under 11 Girls South played Bury Rangers and Rosie Littlechild scored.

Under 10

The Under 10 Girls North played Hitchin Belles in a very good game.

Under 8

The Under 8 Girls played Boreham Wood Ladies and Mya Deans scored 2 goals as did Heidi Addo 2 and Sophie Birkett 2. Rebecca Smith scored a single and the player of the match went to Nora Doyle-Newe.
