St Albans City Youth FC Boreal U13's v Hemel Town Youth Whites U13's
Friday 8th October 7pm at Hemel Town FC, Vauxhall Road, Hemel Hempstead.
Following the heart wrenching story about Lewis Bull reported in newspapers on Monday 16th August, two local football teams have arranged a charity football match. The proceeds will go to the family and Great Ormond Street Hospital where Lewis had his operation.
Lewis suffered from the rare life threatening disease Rasmussen’s Encephalitis and had a six hour operation at Great Ormond Street to remove half of his brain. The operation was successful and Lewis has undergone physiotherapy and speech therapy since then and continues to make an incredible recovery.
Come and support this good cause at Hemel Town FC, Vauxhall Road,
Hemel Hempstead on Friday 8th October (Admission £2) to watch the two teams play for the Lewis Bull Trophy. On the evening there will also be a raffle and auction which will include a signed Robin Van Persie shirt amongst other prizes.
