    Inclusive Festival Held at Nicholas Breakspear Saturday 15th October 2017 A big thankyou to everyone who took part in todays Inclusive Football Festival hosted by St Albans City Youth FC at Nicholas Breakspear School.   • City Youth's Thomas Light at the FA Cup Semi Final

    Thomas Light from the St Albans City Youth Disability Youth team was invited to be part of the pre-match presentations for the Watford v Crystal Palace FA Cup Semi Final at Wembley stadium. He went onto the pitch with Watford no 7 Jose Jurado and the atmosphere was fantastic. He was very excited and performed the task perfectly ... a lifetime experience for Thomas. Read more

    The St Albans City Youth and Special Olympics players Sean Ellingham were invited to watch a Tottenham training session and to meet the players.     St Albans City Youth ran a Healthy Eating talk with members from the St Albans Special Olympics and the Day Light Club. This work forms part of St Albans City FC and St Albans City Youth FC working in partnership in the Community thanks to the funding from the Football Conference Trust.   • Disability Squad Triumph at Feltham

    Disability Squad have a great Tournament at Feltham St Albans City Youth entered two teams into the Feltham Bees 7-aside Summer Tournament. Both sides did really well on what was a sweltering hot day. The ‘A’ team played some good sides QPR, Spurs, Bournemouth, Marlow and the eventual winners Feltham Bees.     St Albans City Youth Deaf FC have officially become part of the Club following an inaugural match at Clarence Park against the St Albans City Youth Disability Team. The new St Albans City Youth Deaf team rose to the occasion by winning 3-0 with goals coming from Sam Haldane, Kevin Walker & an own goal.     City Youth's Ben Kelly, Sean Ellingham and Matt Dodds represented Great Britain at the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles, helping the Great Britain Team win Gold in the 11 A Side Football Tournament and become World Champions.     On Sunday 26th April 2015 over 60 people with a range of physical and learning disabilities took part in a St Albans City Youth football and multisports festival at Nicholas Breakspear School.   • Ryman Cup Semi Final away to Folkestone

    St Albans City Youth Disability Section had an away trip to Folkestone in the semi final of the Rymans Cup. It was a very cold day but the game was played with Respect and the right spirit. Folkestone had more experience of playing 11v11 matches at this level and it showed as they took an early 3-0 lead with very similar avoidable goals.     The St Albans City Youth Disability team played at home to Charlton Athletic in the Quarterfinals of the Ryman Cup and came away with a great 7 – 2 win to take themselves through to the semi-finals.     St Albans City Youth and Wheathamstead Wanderers have agreed to work together to increase the number of people playing Disability football in the District. Using the new, excellent AWP facilities in Wheathamstead they were able to put on the first ever Disability Football Festival in the village.     St Albans City Youth Disability First team The 2 St Albans City Youth disability football teams had a great afternoon, this time led by Team Manager Ben Kelly. The St Albans First team came equal first in the Premier Division with Harvesters and the Second Team won their Championship Division outright.
