adiZone Opening
Howard Green, Tom Ward, Paul Spinks and Jason Cousins from the St Albans Disability squad were invited by Jo Howlett from St Albans District Council to take part in the official opening of the adiZone.
The adiZone is an Olympic legacy provided by Adidas for Verulamium Park. It was a fantastic event despite the cold and snowy weather.
The team of coaches ran a series of football sessions for the young children from St Michaels School making sure everyone had fun and no one got too cold.

The picture shows Jason offering Paul a broom so he could sweep the snow away from the goal line!

Later Councillor Anthony Rowlands presented Tom Ward with a trophy in recognition of his voluntary work in the local community.
