Teams of staff from Oakland's College, Highfield Park and St Albans City Youth worked tirelessly at Highfield Park to help towards creating a new Community Sports field for the local residents to use..
The work forms part of St Albans City Youth work in the Community which has seen them improve a number of Sports facilities around the St Albans District.
St Albans Coach Paul Spinks said "It was great to do something useful for the Community today. It makes me feel good."
Highfield park Trust have recently acquired new land that will allow them to offer more services for the residents of the District.
