The Nadine Mehta Award Community Volunteer of the Year Under 21
1st - Charlie Boswell
Nominated by David Wray of St Albans City Youth FC: “Charlie is wise beyond his years, with his enthusiasm, unbiased leadership and coaching ability, he was able to create a team that eventually ended up winning their league this season. Charlie was able to thrive on this challenge, trusting his coaching ability to be able to improve the youngsters, More recently one of our younger coaches needed extra support and Charlie has taken him under his wing. This approach worked, and this young man, following Charlie's leadership and guidance, plans to run a young football team next season”

The Paul Pearce Award for Disability Sport
St Albans City Youth Community Football Club came second in this catorgory with Special Olympics St Albans coming first.

Club Trustee Alan Moorhouse represented City Youth.
Nominated by Lesley Wray: “The club puts the children at the centre of everything it does. Everyone is welcome at our club, no matter their ability. The X factor is the team of volunteers, most of whom work tirelessly full time for the benefit of the young people in the area. No individual wants to be highlighted for his or her efforts because they do not do it for that reason. They are however, extremely proud of what the club does and what it stands for.”
