St Albans City Youth were invited to take part in the Sky Sport research into Grassroots Football earlier today.
The programme focussed on Under 11 teams. Sky Sports were interested in the opinions of the players, parents and coaches. The feedback will be particularly interesting to us as we are currently collating views and opinions on the benefits of 9v9 football. Part of the research involved parents recording the number of time players touched the ball in 9v9 compared to a conventional 11 a side match.
